Located beside the town of Castro Marim and with amazing views over the Atlantic Ocean this 27 hole course is designed to suit golfers of all different abilities with its various combinations of play. The course itself was designed by Terry Murray, with great use of its natural hills and well placed water hazards you must be on your gain from start to finish when playing here.
Club de Golf Isla Canela
Situated within a nature reserve, this 18 hole course features unrivaled views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Algarve countryside. The course itself stretches for nearly 7000 meters and it features many natural dunes, water hazards and bunkers. It makes this deceivingly flat course into one that is much more tricky. Juan Catarineu successful manages all of the elements in his design to deliver the perfect golfing experience.
Costa Esuri Golf Club
Designed and open in 2006 by Jose Canales, this 36 hole course divided into two is located near Ayamonte in the Portuguese Algarve, each course stretches itself out over 7000 meters of pristine rural countryside. Making them both extremely challenging and two of the longest courses in the region. There is also a prestigious hotel on site but the course does not suffer from the built up modern feel that many other places struggle with. There are very little buildings within view, the most eye catching display comes from the mouth of the river which flows nearby.
Monte Rei Golf & Country Club
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, with views of the Serra do Caldeirao mountains and the Atlantic Ocean this course is challenging and unique in its layout. The attention to detail is unrivaled with many different lakes, plants, trees and undergrowth adding difficulty to the course itself.
Clube de Golfe da Quinta do Lago
Located in the Algarve, Clube de Golfe da Quinta do Lago allows you access to two of the best courses near Quinta do Lago. A combined 36 holes of golf located close to both nature reserves and the beach.
