The Best Golf Courses Near Adeje
Golf Costa Adeje
Located 5km from Playa de las Americas this course which was opened in 1998 features 27 holes and an amazing view out across the sea and onto the island of Gomera. You can also see the Adeje mountains on the other side of the course while playing on big open greens, with lakes, bunkers and many other hazards making things tricky even for the best of golfers.
Golf Las Americas
Opened in 1998 after its design by John Jacobs & Associates, this 18 hole course also features amazing views of the sea and the Adeje mountains. Situated much closer to the bustling Las Americas area of the island which is famous as a holiday destination to many English, Irish and German tourists. While on the course you wouldn’t realize that you are so close to civilization as you enjoy the sea breeze with added peace and quiet this course affords you.
Abama Golf
This 18 hole course near Santa Cruz de Tenerife was opened in 2005 after its design by Dave Thomas. The course itself features stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from all of its 18 holes. It also has a massive range of different hazards including over 20 water ones and an immense amount of shrub and undergrowth. It is considered one of the hardest courses in all of Spain and is compared to many of the most challenging in the world.
Golf del Sur
This course consists of three different 9 hole loops on the links, north and south courses combining for a total of 27 holes. It is located close to the sea and the rough terrain makes it challenging each and every time you play here. There are also various different water hazards, tree cover and volcanic sand bunkers alongside the many greens.
