Condado de Alhama Golf Resort
Measuring 6,918 metres from the tips, Condado de Alhama Golf Resort offers the Signature golf course in Polaris World’s Murcia portfolio. The course has an established reputation for being a testing course and will even challenge professionals and those with a low handicap. Winding around five large lakes, Condado de Alhama features a total of 116 white silica sand bunkers which dictate play throughout the course.
La Colinas Golf & Country Club
Considered to be one of the best golf courses in Europe, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club is set within an 815-acre residential development on the Costa Blanca. Opened in 2010, the course was designed by Cabell B. Robinson and sits on the floor of a valley, surrounded by lush hills. La Colinas is laid out in two loops of nine, each consisting of three par threes, three par fours and three par fives.
La Finca Golf Course
One of three courses at La Finca Golf & Spa Resort, ‘La Finca’ golf course is one of the most popular layouts in the Costa Blanca. Playing to a par of 72, the course was opened in 2002 and was designed by the iconic Spanish architect, Pepe Gancedo. Including spectacular greens and wide fairways, ‘La Finca’ has been contoured and sculpted to create a challenging but enjoyable golfing experience.
Mar Menor Golf Resort
One course designed by two architects separately, Mar Menor Golf Resort provides exceptional variety. Designed by Dave Thomas, the first half features bold bunkering and water hazards which attempt to threaten play. In contrast, Nicklaus Design designed the last 9 holes, which includes distinctive wide fairways. Notable holes include the signature ‘amen corner’, combining the testing combination of the 13th, 14th and 15th holes.
Real Golf La Manga Club
The Real Golf La Manga Club offers world-class facilities and was recently granted a royal title by the Royal Household of Spain in 2017. Host to numerous international tournaments including several Spanish Opens and PGA Championships, the club’s facilities are of superb quality. Situated in an enviable location, the club is surrounded by Mar Menor, Spain’s largest salt-water lagoon, making it an idyllic holiday destination.
