In addition to the course, the club also offers a training area, a waterside practice range and a pro-shop.

Paris International Golf Club

The only Jack Nicklaus design in France, the Paris International Golf Club is a must-visit whilst staying in Paris. Located on the border of the Montmorency forest and just 30km from Paris, the course combines natural beauty with technical perfection. Offering a diverse and demanding layout, Paris International Golf Club has already hosted the women’s Open de France four times.

Golf de Fontainebleau

Known as one of the iconic European golf course. Featuring narrow fairways lined with pines, silver birch, wild cherry, beech and centenary oak, the course provides excellent golf all year-round. A traditional course that is regarded as one of the best in France, Golf de Fontainebleau provides a memorable experience.

GolfClub Rochefort Ocean

An exclusive course located on the borders of the Chevreuse valley, the Golf de Rochefort is often compared to the best courses in Scotland. Located in the middle of a sprawling estate, GolfClub Rochefort Ocean offers a tree-lined parkland layout that will test players of all abilities.

Golf de Saint Germain

Established in 1922, Golf de Saint Germain offers visitors an 18-hole course and 9-hole course, both designed by Harry Colt. Known as the ‘Big’ course, the 18-hole layout is laid over flat land through St. Germain forest and includes a few man-made elevations and 116 strategically placed bunkers. In contrast, the ‘Gents’ course is routed over gently sloping greens and will prove to be the perfect practice round whatever time of year you visit.

The 2018 Ryder Cup Course

Le Golf National is located 25 minutes south west of Paris in Versailles. The tournament will be played on the 6864 yard, Par 72 ‘L’Albatros’ Course. Featuring well-protected greens, countless links-style bunkers and wide undulating fairways, the course is a challenge for even the most experienced of players.

Le Golf National also boasts two other courses to provide world-class golfing facilities. The ‘Eagle’ course is the sister course to ‘L’Albatros’ and is a slightly more forgiving true links golf course. In addition, ‘L’Oiselet’ is a 9-hole par-32 course as part of its academy.

The Ryder Cup 2018 Captains

Although the Ryder Cup captains don’t play during the tournament, they act as the figurehead for the team.

Captain for Europe, Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn will be responsible for the pairings for the Foursomes and Fourballs, as well as selecting ‘two picks’ to complete the team of 12 players. With 12 Top 10 finishes and 19 international victories, Thomas Bjorn served as vice-captain for the 2016 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine so has the experience the team needs.

Jim Furyk has been selected to be the captain of Team USA. With 17 PGA Tour victories and 3 international victories, Furyk has been an extremely successful singles player, he has played in nine consecutive Ryder Cups, the second-most appearances in U.S. Ryder Cup history.
